Attention Seniors! The annual Seniors Serving Seniors Lunch will be from 12-1:30 in Walker Park on September 25th. Plan to attend and connect with the Senior Citizens of NM.


Attention Freshmen: Join the Class of 2029 Google Classroom if you are not in it. Information is posted there about your freshmen team-building and leadership field trip to the Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park on Tuesday, September 16 and Tuesday, September 30. Please show your parents and ask them to read and sign the waiver before Sept. 12. The fee is payable through PowerSchool.


National Art Honor Society Now welcoming New Members, Sept 9th & 16th during lunch in the Art Room


Homecoming!! If anyone has a convertible that can be used in the homecoming parade, please contact Sophia Corbin, Naomi Zziwambazza, or Ms. Gleason ASAP. The parade will be at 6pm on October 3rd. GO NORSE!!


**Powderpuff Date Change** Powderpuff has been moved to Monday, September 29th at 7:30 p.m.


Attention any students 6-12th interested in Robotics! Interested in Robotics, M.A.R.S, Muskegon Area Robotics Students is hosting an open house on Tuesday, September 16th from 6-8pm at their shop (743 Marquette Ave, Muskegon). Learn about FIRST Robotics and talk with team members about the fun opportunities you could have when you join the team! If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Warner!


Dungeons & Dragons Club Meeting D&D Club will begin September 22nd. All meetings will be Monday after school 3:15pm - 4pm in Mrs. Miller's Classroom (room 206). See you there!


Attn. Students September is Suicide Prevention Month. We can all play a part in preventing suicide by checking in on each other and creating an environment where it's okay to ask for help. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please remember you're not alone and help is always available by going to the office where we will connect you with a counselor or social worker. The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline provides free, confidential support. There is a Remembrance Walk on Tuesday, September 16th, at 6:00 pm at Hackley Park to honor loved ones lost to suicide and to show our collective support for mental health awareness. The Hope Squad looks forward to seeing you there as we walk together in hope and remembrance.


Bake Sale! There will be a bake sale on Friday, September 26th during lunch. All proceeds will go to the Close-Up trip to Washington D.C. this Spring! Thank you for your support!


Attention Middle School Students: Once you choose a seat you are expected to stay, eat and clean up after yourself. You are not allowed to go from table to table throughout the lunch period. If you choose to go out you must stay outside


WEB LEADERS There will be a WEB Leader Meeting before school Wednesday September 17th, 2025 at 7:45am. The meeting will be in the teachers lounge (behind the MS/HS office). If you have any questions, see Mrs. Moser or Ms. Cox.


New North Muskegon Adventure Club Are you bored, restless, tired of looking at a screen all of the time? If so, we have the perfect solution to your problem! The new North Muskegon Adventure Club, a place where you can explore the world, disconnect and make lasting memories with your friends and classmates. So get off the couch, out of your chair and from behind your screen and start your adventure on Tuesday morning at 7:45 a.m. or Tuesday during high school lunch in Mr. Stevens room (101) on September 16th. If you cannot attend and are interested feel free to reach out to Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Risley or Mr. Stevens for more information and never forget "The World is yours to Explore, what are you waiting for?"


Women's Awareness and Empowerment Club Meeting The Women's Awareness and Empowerment Club Meeting is Tuesday, Sept. 16 in Ms. gleason's room (105) during lunch


Gymnasium Students may not be in the gymnasium in the morning before school. If a student must put something in the locker room, they are to go straight to the locker room and back. This is for all students, middle and high school. Thank you.


Middle/High School Hours Doors open at 7:30 AM for middle and high school students. All students are dismissed from class at 3:10 PM. All students are expected to be out of the building (unless specifically supervised by coach/teacher/staff member) by 3:30. If you have a unique circumstance that prohibits you from aligning to these guidelines, please let the office know so we can figure out a plan to support you. If you are here for extra-curricular activities (practices, watching games, etc.), you should be in a place with supervision and demonstrate Norse PRIDE!


Seniors-Check your Google Classroom Seniors, Wednesday and Thursday will be our first Senior Meetings! If you are enrolled in Senior English, I will talk with you in English class tomorrow. If you are not enrolled in Senior English, I will meet with you on Thursday, September 18 at 11:15 in room 111. If you are not enrolled in Senior English, and are not on campus at 11:15, Mrs. Woodwyk will contact you individually by the end of the week.


Congrats Boys Soccer Monday night the North Muskegon Boys Varsity Soccer Team defeated Ravenna 4-0 to improve their overall record to 6-0-3, and their conference record to 4-0-1. Leading the way was Dallyn Ellis with 2 goals and 1 assist and Hunter Darga with 1 goal and 1 assist. Boston Stone rounded out the scoring with 1 goal and Jackson Stone, Ricardo Lopez, and Cameron Hurst all had 1 assist. Braxtan Fairchild and Jonas Slimko combined for 6 saves to earn their 6th shutout of the season.


Attention 6th and 8th graders: Students will not be allowed to go to the gym during the second half of lunch under no circumstances. Students may choose to stay in the cafeteria during the entire lunch period or go outside to Walker Park with lunch staff. When the weather gets too cold to safely go outside, we will share updated expectations.
