The March Book Madness The March Book Madness website has just posted the list for the 2026 reading brackets! Fill out the Google Form shared with you in the Library Newsletter for every book from the March Book Madness list that you read. You will be entered into a monthly drawing for gift cards to local places such as Wesco, Barnes & Noble, and more. You can win more than one gift card, so read as many books as you can between January and March! Come see Mrs. Howard if you have any questions. :)
NHS Service Hours-Sgt. Preston All National Honor Society students who would like DOUBLE volunteer hours come to the office and sign up to help at the Sgt. Preston Run from 10am-1pm on New Year's Day. Additional details and sign up sheet in the office!
CTC Exam Schedule On Tuesday, December 16: AM Students will only go to CTC. PM Students will miss CTC for exams at NM. On Thursday, December 18: AM students will miss CTC for exams at NM. PM Students will only go to CTC.
All Lockers (Including Locker Rooms) Emptied Before Christmas Break **Important** Please remove all items from the inside and outside of all lockers in the building before Christmas Break. Our lockers will be painted by an outside company during break. Anything left behind will be disposed of so please be sure to take all belongings. Teachers will be doing final locker checks during Norse Villages before 12/19.
City Parking As a request from the City of North Muskegon... A reminder that the parking lot by City Hall is for students and faculty with the required permits. Over the past week we have noticed several cars without permits, or with non-city issued permits, in the lot. We understand parking can be difficult in the winter, but the extra cars are limiting the spaces needed for city employees. We appreciate your help with this! Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sign ups for coaching Little Norse Basketball Any high school student interested in coaching a team for Little Norse basketball, please sign up in the office. Games start in late January.
Attention CTC Students CTC students should plan to attend CTC on Friday. Please let us know if you have any questions. Afternoon CTC students should confirm with Ms. Darlene if you are taking the bus.
Congrats to Hockey Hockey won, 9-1 over the Falcons. Blake Martin scored his 1st Varsity goal & had 3 assists. The team will be on the ice again, Saturday @ Patterson Ice.
Wrestling The high school wrestling team had a couple of tough losses at Holton last night against Holton and Hesperia. Winning matches were Tayden Fotis, Kelsie VanderVelde, Addison Chase, Will Bahorski, Gavin Quarry, Johnny English, and Brennen Allen - with Andrew Thielbar winning his JV match.
