NHS Service Hours-Sgt. Preston All National Honor Society students who would like DOUBLE volunteer hours come to the office and sign up to help at the Sgt. Preston Run from 10am-1pm on New Year's Day. Additional details and sign up sheet in the office!
CTC Exam Schedule On Tuesday, December 16: AM Students will only go to CTC. PM Students will miss CTC for exams at NM. On Thursday, December 18: AM students will miss CTC for exams at NM. PM Students will only go to CTC.
Alpine Informational Meetings! 2026 Alpine Club sign ups are officially CLOSED for 2026. Please contact Ben at norsealpineclub@gmail.com and/or at (231) 740-6885 to be placed on the waiting list. Thank you for your understanding and interest! There will be TWO info nights in the Flex Center on Monday, December 15th and Tuesday December 16th from 6-6:30PM.
All Lockers (Including Locker Rooms) Emptied Before Christmas Break **Important** Please remove all items from the inside and outside of all lockers in the building before Christmas Break. Our lockers will be painted by an outside company during break. Anything left behind will be disposed of so please be sure to take all belongings. Teachers will be doing final locker checks during Norse Villages before 12/19.
Senior Photos Due Reminder! Senior Photos are due to Mrs. Gleason by December 17th. Your parents have been notified twice. If you haven't gotten your photos back or you need to schedule a time for me to take your pictures, please email Mgleason@nmps.net to set up a time.
City Parking As a request from the City of North Muskegon... A reminder that the parking lot by City Hall is for students and faculty with the required permits. Over the past week we have noticed several cars without permits, or with non-city issued permits, in the lot. We understand parking can be difficult in the winter, but the extra cars are limiting the spaces needed for city employees. We appreciate your help with this! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sign ups for coaching Little Norse Basketball Any high school student interested in coaching a team for Little Norse basketball, please sign up in the office. Games start in late January.
The Norse wrestlers had another huge day of competition Saturday. The boys wrestled as a team in Belding, placing 4th out of 8 teams. Gavin Quarry and Brennen Allen were undefeated, with Reed Cutler, Tayden Fotis, Will Bahorski, Boston Stone, and Kellen Miller also adding in wins. The girls competed individually in East Kentwood, with a few girls going home with hardware and placing: Kelsie VanderVelde (2nd), Addyson Chase (3rd), and Audra Allen (5th), Sevrianna Bennett (8th). The team continues to improve and we look forward to wrestling in Holton this Wednesday!
