The March Book Madness The March Book Madness website has just posted the list for the 2026 reading brackets! Fill out the Google Form shared with you in the Library Newsletter for every book from the March Book Madness list that you read. You will be entered into a monthly drawing for gift cards to local places such as Wesco, Barnes & Noble, and more. You can win more than one gift card, so read as many books as you can between January and March! Come see Mrs. Howard if you have any questions. :)

Web Leaders There will be a WEB Leader Meeting before school Wednesday January 7th, 2026 at 7:45am. The meeting will be in the teachers lounge (behind the MS/HS office). If you have any questions, see Mrs. Moser or Ms. Cox.
Alpine This Friday!!!! The first Alpine trip is this Friday 1/9!! Buses are departing at 3:30 from Moulton Street Door (end of what was Senior Hallway between MS/HS Gyms). Students should for "Holiday Coach" or "Muskegon Lumberjacks" buses. Please bring your ski equipment to the team room (old weight room) in the far right corner of the HS gym. (near the entrance by the senior hallway). Please email norsealpineclub@gmail.com with any questions.
MS Wrestling Meeting, Wednesday Jan. 7 Middle school wrestling starts next week on Monday for boys and girls! Coach Bahorski will have an information meeting in Mrs. Bahorski's room (#211) on Wednesday, Jan. 7 during lunch, or you can ask Mrs. Bahorski or Mr. Allen if you have any questions. Congrats V. Wrestling The high school wrestling team kept very busy over the break in multiple tournaments in Montague and Ravenna. Earning medals were Brennen Allen (2nd), Audra Allen (2nd), Reed Cutler (3rd), Will Bahorski (3rd), Gavin Quarry (4th), and AJ Darnell (5th). Jaden Reagan, Sevrianna Bennett, Kelsie VanderVelde, and Stanley Usmial also added wins to their records.

MS Girls Basketball Practice Practice begins Monday, January 26! All 7th- and 8th-grade girls interested in playing should attend a brief interest meeting immediately after school on Tuesday, January 13, in Coach Schroeder's classroom.
